Overview

• Intermediate knowledge of using Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Course outline

Introduction to OOP (Object Oriented Programming) – Java

• Introduction to Java, a basic idea about OOPs (Object Oriented Programming) concepts such as Class, Object, Method, Inheritance, Encapsulations.
• Usage of IntelliJ IDE for Java programming language.
• Practice Java code and discussions about Data types, Variables, Array, List, Loops (FOR, WHILE, DO-WHILE), Conditional Statements (If-Else and SWITCH), String Data Types, Methods, Dictionary object and Hash table.

Automation Testing with Selenium

·         Configuration of Selenium with IntelliJ IDE, introduction to Maven, and TestNG framework.

·         Introduction to Selenium Web Driver and locators in Selenium such as id, name, XPath.

·         Design and develop test automation framework using Page Object Model design technology.

·         Introduction to GitHub and brief knowledge about version control and source code management (SCM) functionality.

·         Introduction to Jenkins (Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment) tool and executing automation scripts from Jenkins
