Overview

In the modern world, software is an integral part of our daily life. You cannot think about the world without software and it is even getting bigger and better every single day. Testing has become an integral part of the software life cycle. Software testing helps to identify errors, gaps, or missing requirements contrary to the actual requirements.

Application Programming Interface (API) enables communication and data exchange between two separate software systems an example is a front end and the backend database. API Testing is a software testing type that validates APIs. The purpose of API Testing is to check the functionality, reliability, performance, and security of the programming interfaces.

Who can join?

• Bachelor’s degree from any discipline
• Basic computer knowledge such as how to operate a computer, installation of software, uses of internet in daily life and emails
• Intermediate knowledge of using Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel and Power Point
• Proficiency in English will be a huge plus

Prerequisite

A motivated person with Bachelor degree in any discipline who is seeking an IT professional job.

Learning outcomes

Students will have a basic understanding of API and will be capable to perform API testing manually using Postman and to develop REST API using JSON Server.
